I found this website that uses Flash. I’m not a big fan of Flash media, but this one is worth a look.
They have included many health supplement claims, and evaluated the scientific evidence for using or not using them. I found some of the claims to be quite surprising. Unfortunately, some of the claims are not so good.
It is important to note that some of the claims appear in several places. That’s because the supplement may be good for one thing but not so good for another. For example Fish oil, or omega-3 fatty acids, appears seven times. It seem to be good for heart disease and certain cancers, but not so great for depression, Alzheimer’s, Crohn’s disease, or diabetes. I guess some of these products claim to be wonder drugs. But that shouldn’t detract from the fact that they may be good for some things. They just aren’t good for everything.
